This photo was the result of a lot of pain and sacrifice on the part of my wife...and for that I am eternally grateful. To get this shot, we had to drive about a half mile up river, then crossed a bridge, and subsequently hiked back to the spring. Then the real fun began...we had to climb a very steep little hill that was littered with fallen tree trunks from the 1988 fires in 85 degree weather. Coming down was even more of a challenge...Luckily the photo turned out well; now several years later, I'm still not convinced she thinks it was worth it--but I do!

Thank you JP!
