Yellowstone National Park is a landscape photographer's dream. It is big and beautiful, encompassing 2.2 million acres. Because Yellowstone sits atop a huge volcanic caldera, it boasts more geysers and active thermal features than anywhere else on earth, including Old Faithful Geyser. But geysers aside, the sheer variety of landscapes and wildlife make this a truly amazing place in any season. To truly appreciate what this park has to offer, you need to spend at least the better portion of a week.
