Grand
Teton National Park offers some of the best
mountain scenery to be found anywhere. Rising more than 7,000
feet above Jackson Hole in Wyoming, the stunning Teton Range dominates
the skyline throughout the park. Ever-changing seasonal colors
combine with magnificent light (plus more than a fair share of
wildlife) to provide for endless shots.
Wildflowers are scattered in the meadows and along the lakeshores
each spring and summer. The lakes act as mirrors for the mountains
on calm days, and the Snake River meanders down the valley across
this amazing western landscape. Because of its location immediately
adjacent to Yellowstone, Grand Teton NP is often overlooked; nevertheless,
it is worth just as much attention as its more famous sister to
the North.
